Cancellation & Refund Policy

1. Classification of Digital Goods

Anubandha AI operates via a prepaid digital token architecture (Standard and Premium Credits). Because our platform executes compute-heavy artificial intelligence processing, vector indexing, and pipeline routing immediately upon request, these credits are legally classified as consumed digital goods.

2. Credit Consumption & Non-Refundability

Compute costs are non-refundable. One (1) credit is permanently deducted from your account ledger the moment an AI scan is initiated. If a document is rejected by our engine due to being heavily corrupted, illegible, or explicitly falling outside the statutory jurisdiction of the Republic of India (e.g., US Contracts), the compute credit is considered consumed and will not be refunded. We incur heavy API and server costs to validate these failures.

3. System Failures

In the rare event that a scan fails specifically due to an internal server outage, timeout, or backend node crash on our end (not triggered by user document validity), Anubandha AI will manually or programmatically restore the lost credit to your dashboard balance.

4. Cancellation of Transactions

If a fiat currency payment is deducted from your bank account but the digital credits fail to reflect in your dashboard due to a Razorpay or UPI timeout, the transaction will be automatically voided. Refunds for failed network transactions will be credited back to your original payment method within 5-7 business days by the payment gateway.
